The perfect companions for little ones! Whether you're going to visit the most magical place on Earth, or just down the street, you can bet these two pals will be tagging along!

We are HUGE fans of "The Mouse" around my house, so these two loveys are going to see a lot of wear and tear (so I decided against extra buttons and embellishments). Perfect for any age, and both boys and girls!
Models are made in Red Heart Soft, but gauge is not important, so feel free to experiment with any weight yarn you like...

*Edits have been made to both patterns as of 4-25-2016! I erroneously typed 2 sts, ch 2, 2 sts on rnds 16 to the end, when it should have been 1 st, ch 2, 1 st. I am so sorry, and Thank you to those who brought it to my attention!

Great pattern but is there an error in row 17. Should it be dc 8 not 6. If this is correct it puts the whole pattern out. Could someone clarify this. Maybe I'm doing this wrong.

No-rnd 17 is correct. You only increase 2 sts per "side", between the ch 2 spaces. You'll have a slightly ruffled hexagon by the end of the pattern ☺

How do you close the head off to keep stuffing in?because round 13 seems to be end of head and 14 starts blanket. Please help

I love this pattern but I have a qiestion on the stitch count. I have 24 dc at the end of round 16. After that each of my rounds ncreases by 24 stitches but the stitch count at the end of each round of the pattern only increases by 12. Are the stitch groups in the ch2 spaces supposed to be 1,ch2,1 (12 stitch increase per round) or 2,ch2,2 (24 stitch increase per round)? At the end of round 28, i have 360 stitches (not counting ch2) using the pattern 2,ch2,2.

I keep getting 48 dc at the end of row 16. But the count is supposed to be 36. I have 6 "2 dc ch 2 2 dc" which equals 24 stitches and then 4 dc in the middle of those corners for 6 which also equals 24.
If you could please let me know what i'm doing wrong that would be helpful

How do I close up the head? It just goes straight into the blanket, and the bottom of the head is exposed.
