The kids and I have been playing in the kitchen! One of our favorite things to bake is cookies, but sometimes we don't have a lot of time to make a big, traditional batch....This recipe is just as yummy, but takes a lot fewer ingredients, and a lot less time!
And~you can totally customize your cookies, using any flavor cake mix you like, as well as any flavor chips or baking bits ;)

I am not a big fan of whole-grain or wheat breads...Nope~just your run-of-the-mill white bread girl here! BUT...I do love a good loaf of something unusual once in a while.
When we lived in Florida, we used to get these wonderful loaves of Sunflower Bread from a local grocery store. I've not been able to find them anywhere, since leaving Florida, so I decided to make my own.
A little experimenting, and I think I have come pretty close to that yummy bread I remember!

I get sick of the same old, same old things to make for dinner, don't you? My kids can be very picky, and don't often like to try new things. Sometimes, I just don't have TIME to make a tasty dinner from scratch (which is my preference!)
Well~my kids and I got to playing in the kitchen one day, and we made an amazingly yummy new dish, that EVERYONE loves! The best part is, you can make enough to throw in the freezer, to save for those days when you just don't have time...Simply take it out of the freezer, throw it in the oven, and you have a tasty home-made meal ready in no time!
We call it "Meat-Stuffed Manicotti", but my youngest refers to it as Lasagna Rolls...either way, it's GOOD! It's a pretty quick dish to make, although stuffing the manicotti tubes is a little time-consuming...If you have a wide-tipped pastry bag, though, that problem would be solved :)
