Crochet Pattern Materials Used: Worsted weight yarn (Model created in Red Heart Super Saver Americana) Size E (3.5mm) crochet hook for Child size Size H (5.00mm) crochet hook for Adult size Stuffing Yarn needle Size/Gauge: Gauge is not particularly important to this project. I used my Furls E Candy Shop hook for nice, tight stitches, and a firmer fabric. My Furls H Heirloom hook creates a larger piece, more suitable for adult glasses. Head:
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 10 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. Join. (10 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each st around. Join. (20 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 1. *Hdc in next st. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (30 sts)
Rnd 4: ch 1.*Hdc in each of the next 2 sts. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (40 sts)
Rnd 5: ch 1. *Hdc in each of the next 3 sts. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (50 sts)
Rnd 6: ch 1. *Hdc in each of the next 4 sts. Work 2 hdc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (60 sts)
Rnds 7-12: ch 1. Hdc in each st around. Join. (60 sts)
Rnd 13: ch 1. *Hdc in each of the next 4 sts. Hdc2tog*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (50 sts)

Nose:

Rnds 2-3: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. (8 sts) Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Ears: (Make 2)
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 8 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. Join. (8 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Work 2 sc in each st around. Join. (16 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 1. Hdc in each st around. Join. (16 sts)
Rnd 4: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Assembly:
Stuff nose. Place in center front of face, and sew securely on.
Place 1 ear on either side of the face, and stitch in place.
Cut several lengths of yarn, and tie in a straight line on the center top of head, to create a mohawk. Brush and trim as desired.
You can add safety eyes, before stuffing and closing the head, if you desire. I decided against it, so I wouldn't scratch my glasses! :)
