I'm sure a few of you have noticed (or maybe NOT) that I've been a little quiet, and my website is in chaos...There is a very good reason for that~I am updating, upgrading and rearranging the whole thing, to give you a happier, easier to navigate, all around more FUN experience while you are here!

We have had a banner week (or two!) for new releases! Bibs, and playsets, and hats, and diaper covers, and purses...NOW we get to move on to booties! I will be setting up a giveaway for these absolutely adorable Little Loafers patterns shortly, but I thought it would be fun to sneak a peek right here first...These little buggers gave me a run for my money, I don't mind telling you...I could see the finished design in my head, but I just couldn't get it to come out right on the end of my hook! Can we say FROG?? Several times??? After many trials (and errors) I finally ended up with the vision I saw in my head! Aren't they just darling? Perfect for any little man, too! Yes~I know, a simple color change, and add a cute girly button or flower, and you have some cute cross-gender loafers, but I had these in mind for the BOYS ;) These will only be available in 0-3mos, 3-6mos, 6-9mos, and 9-12mos sizes at this time...MAYBE I'll get the gumption to make them in bigger sizes sometime in the future, but for now, I'm going to settle for being in love with them just the way they are! Won't you join me? ;) I get sick of the same old, same old things to make for dinner, don't you? My kids can be very picky, and don't often like to try new things. Sometimes, I just don't have TIME to make a tasty dinner from scratch (which is my preference!)
Well~my kids and I got to playing in the kitchen one day, and we made an amazingly yummy new dish, that EVERYONE loves! The best part is, you can make enough to throw in the freezer, to save for those days when you just don't have time...Simply take it out of the freezer, throw it in the oven, and you have a tasty home-made meal ready in no time! We call it "Meat-Stuffed Manicotti", but my youngest refers to it as Lasagna Rolls...either way, it's GOOD! It's a pretty quick dish to make, although stuffing the manicotti tubes is a little time-consuming...If you have a wide-tipped pastry bag, though, that problem would be solved :) Here is what you'll need~ Brand new pattern release, and GIVEAWAY! The super cute Drooler Bibs pattern is about to be released for sale, so, of COURSE we need to have a giveaway! A few lucky entries will be able to win a FREE copy, before you can buy it! It's super simple to enter~just follow the steps on the Rafflecopter widget below :) Winners will be drawn first thing tomorrow~Tuesday, February 4, 2014, and names will be posted here. This pattern is for all those darling little slobberpusses, from birth to 12 mos (or longer if needed!) Instructions included for both boy and girl versions. Sponsored Ads~ As a mother to any young girl with long hair knows, hair accessories are notoriously elusive creatures! We literally buy thousands of these things, and before long, they vanish! They are just...gone, never to be seen again... Last night, I was getting my 2 daughters ready for their first Daddy/Daughter Dance. Daddy got them new dresses, and shoes, and even necklaces. What he forgot was the OTHER necessities little girls NEED...hair ties, and a purse...I had a moment of panic, when I realized we have NO hair ties~of any kind~anywhere in this house...we even looked in the car! Nothing...but WAIT! I am a crafty Mama~I have elastic beading thread! I can just cut a piece, tie it in a loop, and VOILA! Instant hair tie! I can see by the look on my youngest daughters face, that we are going to have a problem with this solution... |
