Cozies with Character~Trifles N Treasures

I am a genius! Ok...maybe not...but I was playing with some colors the other day, and realized, with just a few simple color changes, and some minor details, you can add CHARACTER to most anything!
Really...the possibilities are endless! I whipped up a simple phone cozy, and just by changing out 2 colors, I got these 2 characters :)

Dream On Mandala, with strips of yarn attached

I've got to say~designing mandalas is so much fun, and they look so pretty! I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with this one, until my oldest daughter asked if I could make her a dreamcatcher....That was my "A-HA!" moment!
So, I added a few lengths of yarn to each side, and a couple to the bottom, and voila! Instant dreamcatcher!

I was playing around with designs for a bag last week, and completely by surprise, came up with this pretty mandala!
I used my Red Heart Boutique Infinity yarn for this one, but it would work up so easily, and beautifully in any yarn. I plan to starch this, so I can hang it on my daughters bedroom wall...she's a bit of a purple fiend ;)

Many of you know that I have been loving my "Mad Scientist" experiments lately...
I recently received a bottle of Nura Rosehip Seed Oil, to try out, and I have to say~I really like it! It's 100% organic, and has virtually no smell to it. You can use it on your skin, right out of the bottle, which is really nice. It absorbs fairly quickly, leaving your skin soft, but not greasy feeling.
You can also take it to the next level, like I did, and incorporate it in to a nice face/body cream!
