Cute Little Catch-All Basket~FREE Crochet Pattern

I have a thing for totes, bags, baskets...pretty much any kind of container! LOL
This cute little catch-all basket works up super fast, with just leftover worsted weight yarn~I used some of my Red Heart Super Saver Stripes yarn, and isn't it pretty??

Crochet Pattern

Materials Used:
Worsted weight yarn (Model created in Red Heart Super Saver Stripes~Favorite Stripe)
Size G/6 (4.25mm) crochet hook (The smaller hook keeps your stitches tight, and the fabric stiff)

Stitches Used/Abbreviations:
ch-chain
rnd-round
sc-single crochet
​bpsc-back post single crochet
hdc-half double crochet
sl st-slip stitch

Instructions:
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with a sl st to 1st sc. (8 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Work 2 sc in each st around. Join. (16 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 1. *Sc in next st. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (24 sts)
Rnd 4: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (32 sts)
Rnd 5: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (40 sts)
Rnd 6: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 4 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (48 sts)
Rnd 7: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (56 sts)
Rnd 8: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 6 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (64 sts)
Rnd 9: ch 1. Bpsc in each st around. Join. (64 sts)
Rnds 10-18: ch 1. Sc in next st. *Skip 1 st. Hdc in next st. Cross your work to hdc in skipped st. Sc in each of the next 2 sts*. Repeat (*) around to last st. Sc in last st. Join with a sl st to 1st sc st. (64 sts)
Rnd 19: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
