Who doesn't LOVE peanut butter?? Or how about cashew butter, or almond butter, or even the famous chocolate hazelnut butter? Did you know you can make these yummy delicacies right in your very own kitchen? With just 1 or 2 ingredients, and a handy little food processor? Well~you CAN! Check this out, and see how fast, easy, and delicious it is! |
First, you'll need to gather ALL of your supplies, so get a pen and paper, and jot this down...Ready? For PEANUT BUTTER~One container of Honey Roasted Peanuts (any brand) and one food processor. For CASHEW BUTTER~One container of Honey Roasted Cashews (any brand) and one food processor. For CHOCOLATE CASHEW BUTTER~One container of Honey Roasted Cashews (any brand), one bag of chocolate chips (milk, semi-sweet, dark, white~whatever flavor you like) and one food processor. Do you see where I'm going with this? Just one container of any flavor nut you like, and a food processor, and you can make your own nut butter. Use the honey roasted variety, and you don't have to add any other ingredients! If you want to flavor them with chocolate, just throw a handful or two (depending on how chocolatey you want it) in with the nuts! |
Add your nuts in to the cylinder of the food processor, and lock your lid. Press pulse, or puree, or whatever setting you like... It takes about 5 minutes or so, for it to start looking like butter. The nuts will chop, then they start to form a sticky looking ball, then they smooth out, into butter!
