| Frozen Hearts Crochet Pattern Materials Used: Worsted weight yarn~Model made in Caron Simply Soft Party yarn~Snow Sparkle Size F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook As gauge is not important to this project, you may use any yarn or hook size you desire. Stitches Used/Abbreviations: Ch-chain Sc-single crochet Hdc-half double crochet Dc-double crochet Trc-triple (or treble) crochet Picot-to complete a picot~ch 2. Instructions:
Snowy Heart:
Row 1: ch 4. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each remaining ch. (3 sts)
Rows 2-3: ch 1, TURN. Sc in each st across. (3 sts)
Row 4: ch 1, TURN. Skip 1st st. Work 3 dc in next st. Sl st in last st. Turn work slightly, to work across end of rows. Skip 1st row end. Work 3 dc in next row end. Sl st in last row end. Fasten off.
Row 5: Rejoin yarn with a sl st in bottom point of heart. Ch 5. Skip next st. Sl st in next st. Ch 5. Sl st in middle dc st. Ch 5. Skip next 2 dc sts. Sl st in next dc st. Ch 5. Skip next st. Ch 5. Sl st in same st as beginning ch 5. (5 ch 5 spaces)
Row 6: In EACH ch 5 space around, work the following combination of sts~{ch 1. Hdc. Picot. Dc. Picot. Trc. Picot. Dc. Picot. Hdc. Picot. Ch 1. Sl st.} Sl st in to next ch 5 space, and repeat combination. Fasten off, after all ch 5 spaces have been worked.
