Crochet Pattern
Materials Used:
Small amounts of worsted weight yarn
Size G/6 (4.25mm) crochet hook
Tiny bit of stuffing
Size/Gauge:
Gauge is not important to this project. Finished models measure between 2.75" across, and 3.5" across, depending on yarn weight used.
Stitches Used/Abbreviations:
ch-chain
rnd-round
sc-single crochet
sc2tog-single crochet two stitches together
sl st-slip stitch
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 8 SC in 2nd ch from hook. Join. (8 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Work 2 SC in each st around. Join. (16 sts)
Rnd 3: Work in FLO for this entire rnd. *Ch 5. SL st in 2nd ch from hook. Sl st in next ch. Work 2 SC in next ch. Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next st on base*, 4 times. Sl st in each of the next 3 sts on base (that's a total of 4 sl sts between front legs). *Ch 6. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook. Sl st in next ch. Sc2tog. Sl st in next ch. Sl st in next st on base*, 4 times. Sl st in each remaining st on base. Join.
Rnd 4: Work in BLO for this entire rnd. Ch 1. SC in each st around. Join. (16 sts)
Rnd 5: ch 1. Sc2tog, 8 times. Fasten off, leaving a long tail. Weave tail through sts and pull tight to close.
You can stuff the body if you want to. That's it! I leave the remainder of the tail for hanging them ...
