I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween...Ours started out grey, cold, and wet. We figured trick-or-treating was going to be a huge flop, so my husband and I ran to the store to pick up "stuck at home" supplies (including a few LARGE bags of candy, so the kids could at least trick-or-treat at home~LOL). On our way home, the sun came out, the rain dried up, and it warmed up a couple degrees~go figure! So, we took our little animals (literally...we had a cat, a dog, and a frog this year) into a couple neighborhoods, and let them run and giggle to all the spooky houses so they could thoroughly rot their little teeth. We then came home, popped a few movies into the DVD player, and had a nice family evening. So, it turned out to be a nice holiday, after all... :)
Now that THAT one is out of the way, I have a rather large pile of projects to weed through. My oldest daughter will be turning 11 in just over 2 weeks. She has given me a "list" of things she would like this year for her birthday. I am going to see just how many of these items I can complete by then. I have already started on the crocodile stitch poncho. That one is going to be SO warm! And then, we have Christmas...I guess I better get to work!
