Ok...so, my daughter has been bugging me for about 3 years to design one of these goofy looking guys for her...lol

Little Pink Dude

Instructions: (Stuff as you go)
Head/Body:
Row 1: ch 7. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, and each remaining ch. (6 sts)
Rows 2-5: ch 1, TURN. Sc in each st across. (6 sts)
Rnd 6: (Now working in rnds) ch 1. Sc evenly around outer edge, working 2 sc in each corner. Join to 1st sc. (22 sts)
Rnds 7-8: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. (22 sts) *Place safety eyes here, before closing!
Rnd 9: ch 1. Work 2 sc in next st. Sc in each of the next 6 sts. Work 2 sc in next st. Sc in each of the next 6 sts. Work 2 sc in next st. Sc in each of the next 7 sts. Join. (25 sts)
Rnds 10-11: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. (25 sts)
Rnd 12: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Sc2tog*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (20 sts)
Rnd 13: ch 1. Sc2tog, 10 times. Join. (10 sts)
Rnd 14: ch 1. Sc2tog, 5 times. Join. (5 sts)
Rnd 15: ch 1. Work 2 sc in each st around. Join. (10 sts)
Rnd 16: ch 1. *Sc in each of the next 4 sts. Work 2 sc in next st*. Repeat (*) around. Join. (12 sts)

Rnd 22: ch 1. Sc2tog, 6 times. Join. Fasten off. Weave opening closed.
Legs: (Make 2)
Rnd 1: ch 2. Work 8 hdc in 2nd ch from hook. Join. (8 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 1. Bpsc in each st around. Join. (8 sts)
Rnds 3-5: ch 1. Sc in each st around. Join. (8 sts)
Rnd 6: ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each of the next 2 sts. Sc in next st. Sc2tog, 2 times. Sc in last st. Join. (8 sts)

Rnd 8: (Creating fingers) *Ch 4. Sl st in 2nd ch from hook, and each of the next 2 chs. Sl st in next st of arm*, 4 times. Sc2tog. Join. Fasten off. Weave in ends.
Zipper Pull:
Ch 5. Join to form a ring. Ch 1. Sl st in ring. Ch 1. Work 2 sc in ring. Ch 1. Sl st in ring. Ch 1. Sl st in ring. Join. Fasten off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Assembly:
Using a yarn needle and contrasting color yarn, stitch a zig-zag type pattern up the torso. Sew the zipper pull at the top of this pattern, just under the head. Take a few random stitches around the edge of rnd 6 of head.
Use Black yarn to stitch on a mouth.
Place one arm on either side of body, at rnd 13, and sew securely in place. Use contrasting color yarn to take a few random stitches around the wrists
Place one leg on either side of body, near bottom, and sew securely in place. The half double crochet stitches simulate a knee, so take that into consideration when placing!
Your Little Pink (or whatever color you choose) Dude is complete!
